How Annuvell AI uses your existing information
See how Annuvell AI generates suggestions using only your provided facts, how to check each suggestion’s source, and why adding more details leads to a fuller preview.
Annuvell AI can help you improve your business listing, but only by working with the facts you provide. Understanding how it uses your information—and what it does not invent—lets you get the most from its suggestions while keeping control over what is published about your business.
What information does Annuvell AI use?
The AI starts with the details you have supplied in your listing workspace. These include your business description, list of services, contact options, opening hours, and photos. It can also use comparison facts for your sector, such as whether you offer free quotes or have a verified address. Everything comes directly from the data you or your team have added.
The more detail you include, the more the AI has to work with. For example, if you list several distinct services, these can be shown or summarised more clearly in your preview. If you have uploaded high-quality photos and set your opening times, these will appear as part of the suggested content. Where owners leave gaps, the AI leaves them blank or marks them as needing your input—it does not invent details.
The rule: only suggest what you have supplied
Annuvell AI is designed to suggest only what it can support from your supplied facts. If you have entered a service, opening hour or description, it can propose clearer or more helpful wording for that field. Where you have not provided information, the AI does not make assumptions or create facts. Instead, it displays a placeholder labelled “Add your information.”
This rule applies to every field the AI touches. For example, if you have not uploaded photos, the preview simply shows a prompt to add them. If your business does not have certain comparison facts—such as accepting card payments—the suggestion will be left blank or marked as needing more data. This approach avoids the risk of inaccurate claims appearing in your profile preview.
How suggestions and their evidence are shown
Each field in the AI-enhanced preview carries one of three labels:
- Supported: This means the field is filled directly from your own data. For example, if you have stated your opening hours, the preview will show them as Supported.
- AI suggestion: Here, the AI proposes improved wording or a summary, but it is always grounded in the facts you have supplied. Next to each suggestion, you can see the evidence the AI based it on—so you can check exactly where each part comes from.
- Add your information: If you have not supplied data for a field, the AI cannot fill it. Instead, you see a neutral prompt inviting you to add the missing detail. Placeholders never assert anything about your business—they simply remind you what could be included.
This labelling helps you see at a glance which parts of the preview are taken directly from your information, which are AI suggestions based on your facts, and which are awaiting your input. You remain in control of what is shown, with the source of each suggestion always clear.
Checking and controlling what goes public
Nothing in the AI-enhanced preview is published without your approval. You can accept, reject or—for your main description—edit individual AI suggestions. For service summaries and FAQs, you also have the option to regenerate specific sections if you think they could be improved with your current facts.
The workspace lets you accept all Supported fields at once, making it easy to adopt suggestions that are direct matches to your information. Before anything is published, you can use the "Review changes" panel to see exactly what will change—comparing your current public profile with the AI-enhanced preview. Only when you select "Publish approved changes" are the approved suggestions applied to your public listing, and only after the same checks as any manual edit.
Publishing covers supported and approved suggested content for your description, FAQs and comparison facts. You always choose what goes live, and you can review or edit every suggestion before it is made public. For more detail on this process, read How AI-enhanced profiles work (and why nothing is published without you).
Why more information leads to better suggestions
The quality of the AI’s suggestions depends directly on what you have entered in your listing. If your profile is sparse—perhaps just a business name and phone number—the AI can only propose wording or summaries for those fields. It cannot create content for missing facts or services.
Adding more details—such as a clear business description, a full list of services, accurate hours, and good photos—gives the AI more context to draw on. This means its suggestions for how to present your business become more relevant, specific and useful for potential customers. For example, if you specify unique services, the AI can highlight these in your summary. If you include customer-friendly features (like free parking or out-of-hours appointments), these can be brought forward in the preview.
The workspace shows three levels of completeness: your current profile, what it would look like if you accepted all Supported suggestions, and the potential completeness if you added all missing details. Placeholders never count towards completeness, so you always have a clear view of what more you could include for a fuller profile.
What happens if the AI provider is unavailable
In rare cases, the AI service may be temporarily unavailable. If this happens, you will see a clearly labelled example structure instead of AI-generated suggestions. This structure is deterministic, meaning it follows a fixed template and never invents details about your business. Nothing from this example is stored as an AI result, so your profile preview remains accurate and based only on your facts.
Once the AI service resumes, you can regenerate the preview so it returns to using your real information. At no point does Annuvell AI fill in missing details with fabricated or assumed facts, regardless of system status.
What happens when your profile changes
If you edit your business profile after generating an AI preview, the platform marks your preview as stale. You will see a prompt to refresh the preview to match your updated information. This helps you avoid publishing outdated or mismatched content. You can regenerate the preview as soon as you have started the free 14-day AI trial, which does not require a card and can be started once per business. After the trial ends, your current profile and preview remain viewable, but you will not be able to create new drafts or regenerate previews until another trial is available in the future.
Next steps
Add the facts you know are missing in your business listing dashboard, then regenerate your AI-enhanced preview to see suggestions based on your new details. You can review, edit and approve each suggestion before anything is published live.
