AI can help you write a clearer, more informative business profile, but only if the facts it uses are right. As the listing owner, you decide what reaches your Annuvell Local public profile, and the AI workspace is designed so you are always in control. Here’s how to use its safeguards well, check every suggestion, and keep your profile accurate for local customers.

Understand the built-in safeguards

The Annuvell Local AI workspace is set up so that nothing gets published without your review. When you open the workspace, you will see your current live listing beside an AI-enhanced preview. This preview is stored separately — it never changes your public profile by itself, and you have full control over each field.

Each preview field carries one of three labels:

  • Supported: These are facts taken directly from your own data, such as services you listed or opening hours you entered. You can accept all supported fields at once if you wish, since they are simply restating what you have already confirmed.
  • AI suggestion: Here, the AI has improved the wording, written a summary, or suggested a clearer description, but always based on your own information. Every suggestion is shown with its evidence, so you can see exactly which of your facts it draws on.
  • Add your information: This means the AI could not fill the field from your data. It is a placeholder, not a guess, and asserts nothing.

No AI suggestion reaches your public profile unless you actively approve it. For each suggestion you can Accept, Reject, or Edit. The "Review changes" step shows you exactly what will change before you publish, and the same checks apply as if you were editing manually. Only the fields you approve will become public.

You can find more detail in Why AI suggestions are never published automatically.

Make it a habit to check every fact

AI suggestions can save you time, but you are still responsible for what goes live. The simplest habit is to check every highlighted phrase or rewritten field against something you can point to in your own records or published information.

  • If a field is labelled Supported, it should match what you already entered. Confirm that this matches your intended hours, services, or contact details.
  • For an AI suggestion, look at the evidence shown. If it refers to your existing description, services or other fields, check that the summary is faithful and does not go further than your original facts.
  • For example, if the AI suggests "We offer emergency repairs within two hours," but your original wording only states "prompt repairs," you should reject or edit this — unless you can point to a specific policy or record that backs up the two-hour claim.

A good rule is this: if you cannot immediately verify a phrase or summary with something you have published, reject it. For descriptions, you can edit the suggestion directly, or regenerate if you have updated your facts and want a fresh draft.

Watch for words that signal a problem

Some kinds of wording should always make you pause, and usually reject the suggestion. The most common red flags are:

  • Superlatives: Words like "best," "leading," or "top" cannot be verified by your own business facts and are not supported by Annuvell Local’s standards. Even if you feel you offer excellent service, the directory does not allow these claims.
  • Guarantees and promises about outcomes: Any wording that says a result is certain, such as "guaranteed results," "will save you money," or "always on time," should be rejected. These are not factual statements you can evidence for every customer.
  • Claims about competitors: Never accept suggestions that compare your business to others, such as "cheaper than other local firms" or "the only provider in town." These are not only unverifiable but also not permitted in business profiles.
  • Anything about outcomes or future events: Phrases like "your problem solved in one visit" or "you will always be satisfied" go beyond what you can evidence and should be removed or reworded.

If you spot any of these, either edit the suggestion to remove them or reject the field entirely. The safest approach is to stick to the facts you can prove.

Keep your source facts accurate and up to date

The accuracy of AI suggestions depends entirely on the facts you have entered. If your services list is incomplete, or your description is out of date, the AI can only summarise what it sees — and may leave out important details or introduce confusion.

  • Review your services, opening hours, and contact details regularly to make sure they are correct before generating a preview.
  • If you spot an error or change something after generating a preview, the workspace will mark the AI preview as stale and prompt you to refresh it. Always regenerate the preview after major edits so that further suggestions reflect your latest information.
  • When a field shows "Add your information," it means the AI could not find a fact to support a suggestion. Update your source details, then regenerate to fill these gaps.

This habit not only keeps your profile accurate but also helps the AI workspace provide more useful and reliable suggestions next time you use it. See How Annuvell AI uses your existing information for more on how your facts are handled.

Know what you are responsible for

As the business owner, you are responsible for every detail that appears on your public profile. The AI workspace is a tool — it does not verify facts or publish anything by itself. Even though suggestions may sound helpful, only you can decide whether they are true, accurate, and suitable for your business.

  • Before you publish any AI-enhanced description, summary, or FAQ, ask yourself: could I show a customer where this fact comes from?
  • If you are unsure about any detail, reject the suggestion until you can confirm or update the underlying fact.
  • Remember that misleading or unsupported claims not only risk your credibility but may affect how your business is listed or compared.

You can always see a full "from-and-to" view before publishing, and nothing is final until you confirm the changes. Make it a point to revisit your profile frequently, especially if your business details change, so that your public information stays current and accurate.

Use the AI workspace to help, not to replace your judgement

The AI workspace on Annuvell Local is there to speed up drafting and improve clarity, not to replace your review. Treat every suggestion as a draft for you to check, not as a finished article.

  • Use the preview to spot where your information is complete, where it could be clearer, and where facts are missing.
  • Only accept suggestions that you can evidence from your own business information.
  • Make edits or regenerate individual fields where needed, especially if your facts have changed since the last preview.

By combining the AI workspace’s structure with your own knowledge, you can build a profile that is both attractive and trustworthy. Rejecting or editing suggestions is a normal part of the process and shows you are taking your responsibility seriously.

Next steps

Go through your AI preview line by line. Reject any suggestion you cannot evidence, then fix the underlying fact and regenerate. Keep your profile up to date so future suggestions are accurate.
