What is an AI-enhanced Annuvell profile?

Annuvell Local now offers an AI-enhanced profile preview for most business listings. If you have noticed a "See AI preview" button next to your business, you might be wondering what it does, how it works, and whether it changes anything about how your business appears to customers. This guide explains what the AI preview is for, what you can control, and what stays private until you decide to publish anything.

Where the AI preview appears and who can see it

The AI preview is designed for business owners who have not yet claimed their Annuvell Local listing. You will see a "See AI preview" button on the Find my business page, next to your business’s public profile. You can also access it from your listing’s public preview page, even before you claim ownership.

The preview is visible only to you (the potential owner) when you access your business through the owner tools. Customers browsing Annuvell Local do not see the AI preview or any AI-generated content unless you explicitly publish it. The main purpose of the preview is to show you what an improved or more complete version of your profile could look like, based on the information already on your listing.

If you have not yet claimed your business, viewing the AI preview does not require you to register or start any trial. It is a way to see what the AI might suggest before you commit to anything.

What the AI preview workspace shows you

When you open the AI profile workspace, you will see two columns side by side:
- Current listing: This column shows exactly what is live on your Annuvell Local profile as seen by the public—no changes, no suggestions.
- AI-enhanced preview: This column displays what your profile could look like with AI-generated improvements, summaries or clearer wording. This preview is stored separately and does not affect your public profile unless you choose to publish any changes.

Each field in the preview comes with a label to clarify how it was filled:
- Supported: The information is taken directly from your own published data. It is a straightforward copy, not changed or reworded.
- AI suggestion: The AI has rewritten or summarised your original content, aiming to improve clarity or completeness. Each suggestion is based strictly on facts already in your listing, and you can see the evidence the model used.
- Add your information: This is a placeholder where the model could not generate a suggestion. It means the field was empty or unclear in your original data. The AI does not invent or guess here.

What the AI preview does and does not do

It is helpful to know what the AI preview can and cannot do for your business:

• It does not rewrite your business: The AI preview is a separate draft. It never changes your live profile unless you review and approve each update.
• It is not published automatically: Nothing in the AI preview appears to the public or affects your listing’s place in search results until you explicitly publish approved changes.
• It does not boost your ranking: Annuvell does not use AI suggestions or profile completeness to influence organic ordering in search. Featured placements, if used, are always labelled, and no paid plan can affect editorial content or comparison facts.
• It is not a substitute for facts: The AI can only summarise or reword what is already in your listing. If a field says “Add your information,” only you can fill it by adding the missing fact. The AI does not make up details or check accuracy.
• It does not verify anything: Only your own published facts, or those checked by Annuvell, are marked as verified. AI suggestions are always shown with their source and do not claim verification.

If the AI provider is unavailable at any time, the workspace shows a clearly labelled example structure without storing any fabricated content as an AI result.

Understanding the actions you can take

Inside the AI preview workspace, you have several options:
- Accept: Approves an AI suggestion for publishing. You might do this if the wording is clearer, or if a summary better explains your service.
- Reject: Discards the suggestion, leaving your original wording unchanged.
- Edit (for descriptions): Lets you change the AI’s suggestion before accepting it.
- Regenerate: For descriptions, service summaries or FAQs, you can ask the AI for a new version if you are not happy with the first.
- Accept all supported: Instantly accepts every Supported field, which simply copies your existing facts, not any suggested rewrites.
- Review changes: Before publishing, you see a clear comparison of current versus approved new content. Only when you click "Publish approved changes" are any updates sent through Annuvell’s ordinary validation and made public.

Publishing applies only to approved fields: description, FAQs and confirmed comparison details. Nothing is ever published without your explicit action.

If you update your profile after generating a preview, the workspace will mark the preview as stale and offer to refresh it. This helps you keep your draft in step with your latest facts.

What is free and what uses the AI trial

Annuvell Local lets every owner generate and view the first AI preview for their business at no cost. You do not need to claim the business or start a trial just to see what the AI suggests.

If you want to make changes, explore multiple drafts, or use AI to regenerate fields (such as FAQs or service summaries), you will need to start the free 14-day AI trial. Starting the trial does not require a card and can only be done once per business. The trial unlocks:
- Editing AI-generated drafts
- Regenerating profile sections
- Generating and editing FAQs
- Publishing approved changes

After the trial ends, your profile and the AI preview remain viewable, but you cannot generate new AI drafts or refresh suggestions until the trial is reactivated (if available). The pricing page has the latest details on what is included.

Profile completeness and placeholders

The AI workspace helps you track how complete your profile is at every stage. It shows:
- The current completeness of your published profile
- How complete your profile would be if you accept all Supported fields (direct copies of your data)
- The potential completeness if you also accept suggested details

Placeholder fields marked “Add your information” do not count towards completeness. Only true business facts you supply, or those already published, affect this score. This helps you focus your efforts where they will have the most impact for customers comparing businesses side by side.

How to get started with the AI preview

You do not need to claim your business or sign up to view the AI preview. Simply go to the Find my business page, search for your business, and select “See AI preview.” Review the suggestions, labels and completeness scores at your own pace.
