Reading the AI preview: current listing versus suggestions

See how your current business listing is shown alongside the AI-enhanced preview. Understand field labels, highlighted changes, and how the completeness table works as a to-do list.

Every business owner on Annuvell Local can review an AI-generated preview of their listing before choosing what, if anything, to update. The workspace is designed to give you a side-by-side view: your published details on the left, and an AI-enhanced draft on the right. This helps you assess suggestions, spot gaps, and decide which edits or summaries—if any—make sense for your business.

Understand the two columns: current listing and AI preview

The workspace is split into two clear columns. On the left, you see your current public listing—exactly what customers see on Annuvell Local. On the right is the AI-enhanced preview, which offers suggested improvements, summaries, and placeholders for missing information. Nothing in the preview is published or changes your profile until you approve it.

Each section in the preview is labelled to show where the information comes from or what action you might take. You control which suggestions are accepted, edited, or ignored. The workspace keeps these versions separate, so you can compare in your own time without risk.

Description section: comparing summaries and highlighted changes

The description is often the first thing a customer reads, so the workspace pays special attention to how this section is handled. In your current listing, the description is exactly what you wrote or last approved. In the AI preview, you may see:

  • Supported: Your original words are shown, with no changes. You can accept this instantly if you are happy with it.
  • AI suggestion: The AI offers rewritten or summarised text, aiming for clarity or conciseness. Changes are highlighted, so you can see exactly what was altered. Each suggested edit is paired with its source material, so you know what facts the summary is based on.
  • Add your information: If the AI cannot find enough detail to generate a description, you will see a placeholder inviting you to add something. This does not assert anything about your business.

You can accept, reject, or edit the suggested description. If you want a different version, you can regenerate the summary during your trial. Every change is visible before you approve or publish.

Services, FAQs, and comparison details: field-by-field suggestions

Beyond the description, the AI preview covers individual service entries, FAQs, and structured comparison details. Each item is shown with one of three labels:

  • Supported: Pulled directly from your own published data. These are safe to accept all at once if you are happy with the current wording.
  • AI suggestion: The AI has reworded or summarised your service or FAQ for clarity, grounded in your original facts. Alongside the suggestion, you will see the supporting information the AI used to generate it. You can review, accept, reject, or regenerate each one individually.
  • Add your information: For any service, FAQ, or comparison detail where the AI could not find information, a placeholder prompts you to supply your own. These do not affect your factual completeness.

Every change is traceable to your own input. You can see exactly which facts each AI suggestion is based on, helping you decide whether it reflects your business accurately. For services and FAQs, you have the option to regenerate suggestions if you want to see a different take.

Understanding field labels: what is expected of you

Each field label in the preview signals a different level of action:

  • Supported: No action is required, but you can accept these fields if you want to confirm them for the updated profile preview. If you are confident all supported fields are accurate, you can use the "Accept all supported" option.
  • AI suggestion: These ask you to review the suggested rewording or summary. You should check that the AI's version reflects your business as you want it presented. Accept if it fits, reject if not, or edit as needed for the description.
  • Add your information: These are gaps where the AI could not generate content. You can choose to add information, but there is no obligation. Placeholders can be left in place until you are ready to fill them.

No suggestion is ever published unless you explicitly approve it. The system is designed so you can take your time, compare options, and only update what you are comfortable with.

Highlighted changes and supporting evidence

One of the key features of the AI preview is the ability to see exactly what has changed. Where the AI offers a suggestion, any new or altered wording is highlighted. You will also see a summary of the source material used for each suggestion—such as your original description or service entry—making it easy to check whether the summary is accurate.

This transparency helps you spot small edits as well as more significant changes. If you see a suggestion you like but want to adjust a detail, you can edit it directly (for the description) or regenerate it for another version. For every change, you are shown both the original and previewed text, making it easy to compare.

Using the completeness table and placeholders as a to-do list

The workspace displays a completeness table that helps you track what information is present, supported, or missing in your listing. This table shows three states:

  • Current completeness: What your public profile currently contains.
  • Completeness with supported facts accepted: The improvement you would see if you confirmed all supported fields.
  • Potential completeness with suggestions added: The highest level attainable if you accept all supported and suggested fields, filling in any remaining placeholders.

Placeholders marked as "Add your information" act as a visual to-do list. They show exactly where your profile is missing details that could help customers understand your business. While you are not required to fill every placeholder, doing so can make your listing more useful for comparison and search.

Remember, placeholders never count towards factual completeness—they simply highlight opportunities to add more detail. You can use the table to prioritise which sections to update next.

Keeping your preview up to date

If you edit your business profile after generating a preview, the workspace will mark the preview as stale. You will be prompted to refresh it, so your AI suggestions always reflect the latest facts. If the AI provider is unavailable for any reason, the workspace will show a deterministic sample structure, clearly labelled, and will not store anything fabricated as an AI result.

You can always view your profile and the most recent preview, even if your free AI trial has ended. Regenerating suggestions or editing drafts will require an active trial, which you can start once per business with no card required.

Next steps

Open the AI profile workspace and read through each section side by side, using this guide to understand what you are seeing. Take your time to review labels, highlighted changes, and completeness. When you are ready, start with supported fields, then review suggestions and decide which placeholders you want to fill.
